Areas of Operation
i) Property Investment and Development
The property base of the business grew out of retail shopping centres that were once ancillary to the retailing activities of the business. The focus on retail property has broadened such that the ROI group now undertakes investment and development projects in all property classes.
Projects range from small retail properties through to large staged mixed-use projects.
The ROI Groups property activities include;
1. Property Development; 2. Property Investment; 3. Property Management.
Where advantageous, the ROI Group engages in strategic partnerships and joint ventures to complete selected property projects.
The ROI Group has a preference to directly and proactively manage its property interests.

ii) Investments
The ROI group maintains an active investment portfolio of domestic and international equities and other investments.
iii) Direct Business Ownership and Operation
The ROI group owns and operates the following business operations:
1. Ice Box Liquor Liquor retailing and hotels. This business represents a return to the retailing history of the group. The Ice Box Liquor chain of retail stores is aggressively implementing its strategy of serving the daily convenience and impulse demands of local customers.
2. Oakvale Wines Vineyard, winery and marketing. Using grapes grown at our vineyard at Broke in the Hunter Valley, this business produces and markets premium wines in limited quantities through our own cellar door and direct marketing activities.
3. Centenary Centre - Antiques and collectables retailing. This business forms a retail base within an important property and showcases the retail history of the group.
